Prairie Public’s award-winning series of documentaries about the "Germans from Russia" explores their history, culture, and traditional folkways, and it traces how their quest for land and peace shaped them into a distinctive and enduring ethnic group.
"Prairie Mosaic" is a magazine-style television program featuring pre-produced short features about the arts, culture, and history of the northern plains region.
"Prairie Pulse" is a weekly public affairs show on Prairie Public that features a long form, studio interview with a regional newsmaker, artist, or author. The television show also features a short story or profile of a regional artist or a performance from a regional musician or band.
"Main Street," Prairie Public's weekday one-hour radio show, keeps its finger on the pulse of the broadcast region with discussions with newsmakers of the day.
